Stella is putrid.

Sorry to piss on your strawberries, but I would rather lick my own arsehole than drink a pint of Stella.

I have really got into my wheat beers recently. Had this Austrian white beer last weekend, can't remember the name but it was 5.5% and was sweet as!

Parkins (although Sainsburys own brand) is actually brewed by Tetley's, and is surprisingly good.

Lowi's alright, Grolsch is nice, but I really love the ale, 2B's, 3B's, Tanglefoot, Bishops Finger, Bombardier, Spitfire all of the above please.

When I was working up the Jovial Monk once, some guy asked me what the difference between 3B and 2B's was, "I dunno" I replied "1B??".

3B's is Best Bitter Beer

Or something like that.

2B is best bitter, 3B is best bitter beer.  In theory they brew 3B longer it's a bit stronger, and percieved to be better although I prefer 2B myself.  Kingsdown is the premium ale, which is stronger and more expensive, althought the best is moonlight a special ale which is lovely, or bes arganic honey ale which is pleasant.

6X, hard to find a good pint, I do enjoy summer ales nice and fresh without lager fizzyness.  Steam in old town has the best selection of ales from where I go, about 5 or 6 different ones each week, but Check Inn in Wroughton is meant to be superb, bit too far to walk IMO.
