Whereabouts in Brum are you Mr Roundabout? should get yourself down to sundarbon in selly oak, better than the local franki and bennies.  One of the chinese places in the chinese quarter is excellent, as are some of the places in the mailbox, and los igunanas (small portions too) in arcadian.  I never made it to ladypool road though!!! Also some smashing Italian places in Mosely and Harbourne.

i live in Cradley Heath (Halesowen way).
I work on 5 Ways in Central Brum.

Mail Box does have some cracking places to eat if your feeling rich though so i only go when work take us.

Next time your in Brindley Place try Thia Edge or The Bank.
very very nice

Yeah, the waitresses were nice. But there were groups of birds just having dinner with their friends and that. Was good.

Any of you lot tried Toby Carvery? I dont know if Swindon has one to be honest, but I used to go to one in Reading and it was georgeous.

Yeah there is one at abbey meads mate, lush! If we stay up I will take you for dinner there in a non gay way

I'm out in Brum tomorrow, I know of Bank but never been mind.  I got a good meal on a sat in mailbox overlooking the canal for about £15 it was serious relief to see the cost cos I feared the worst having seen a tub of moisturiser that the girls were swooning over was £110!

I lived in Selly Oak for 4 years whilst at Uni, I'm back in SN1 at the moment but I'm looking for a job in Birmingham for next year, looking to move up in about 12 months.

Could be tough as I rarely eat in Swindon, but here we go

Fabios
Connies (Chinese)
ermm, another Italian in Old Town (forget the name)
Il Capricorno

and for take-aways it has to be the chippie on the magic roundabout!!!!!
