Wordup brothers. I'm booking my round the world trip next week. some questions to travellers:

where did you get your ticket?
how much was it?
how many miles was it?
could you choose your coutries yourself or did you have to take a template someone had sorted for you?

should i go to south america? I dont know if i can be arsed.

you going alone or with others?
how long for and when are you going?
you can choose your own destinations but i imagine they will suggest some places to go so that it's easier for travelling between different countries
where are you planning on going anyway? i'm going next july for a year but don't yet know where i wanna go

Im going with a mate. Planning to leave next August but I dont know how long i want to go for. thats why i want to know if there is a time limit you can use your tickets in.

I want to do... Thailan, Japan, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Figi, Brazil, USA, Iceland.

but i am open to suggestions.

All I know is that I want to be in Australia for Christmas so I can have a turkey on the beach.

and we might get a train round europe before we start doing the flying. That way we can work in bars and stuff to earn a bit more dosh without being in swindon.

has anyone travelled Australia?

Is it worth flying from the west to the East or is it better to drive, walk, swim, kangaroo it?

I booked mine with trailfinders

http://www.trailfinders.com/bestbuys.nsf/rtw?openform&referer=uk&region=rtw

It cost £1050 including all airport taxes etc and I got free UK flights to and from Heathrow and 4 free internal flights in Australia  Cool

You can change your travel dates at any time but you can't change your destinations.

Cheeky

I went 3 years ago and I dunno how many miles it was I didn't count but it was round the world Southeast Asia Australia NZ and USA so lots of miles.

Fly around Australia except for the East Coast as there's lots more to see and do there.

how do my countries sound to you? This is the rough time line

August: drive to france, germany, czech republich, some other gay eastern europe place.
Sept: work in these places
Oct: fly to Japan - Thailand - Vietnam
Decemeber: fly to OZ
Dec - Feb work in OZ
Feb - fly to newzealand and figi
april: fly to brazil
May: fly to Mexico, California, texas, new york, canada...
August: back to Swindon

Is that too long in each coutry?

You can always cross borders overland while in countries.

I'd suggest adding Cambodia and you'll be able to do a whole host of different Saarf American countries.
