Went to a sports bar today to watch the various football and we were served by this American woman. We were watching the Man City v Everton game and came to deliver our pints. She noticed that we were watching the football and said 'Who is playing', I replied 'Man City v Everton'. She then asks, 'who you going for'? 'Man City probably, but I am not really bothered either way' is my response before asking who she would like to win. 'The team in blue' she replies prompting immature giggling from me and my mates. 'They both play in blue, which one do you mean' I say? 'Oh well in that case I'll go for the yellows' as the referee and linesman come up on the screen!! :roll:
For a sports bar, I have never seen so many clueless people in my life! Surely to work in a sports bar, you should have even a basic grasp on UK Sport, especially when the team from that City is actually playing. :roll:
