First off I hope for the love of god Iffy turns down the offer of help from Jimmy.  He was a fantastic player but clearly doesn’t look like management material and he’s hardly in a position to start dishing out advice.

Would also be great to see Iffy bring in a number two even if it’s initially just on a temporary basis.  With Reeves crocked it leaves just Woan and Iffy to handle the whole playing set up which is an incredible task even at the lower ends of the conference.  The pair are doing the same jobs 6 people were doing just a couple of years ago.

An experienced amicable chap like Crosby would be an ideal candidate, someone that’s not going to threaten the authority of a fledgling manager and provide the voice of experience.

Also I read today that the club had already received “numerous applications” from interested parties for the job.

Interesting to see just who these are from.  I hope Gould’s one of them, I’m developing a soft spot for the old yellow toothed scoundrel.

I said exactly the same in another thread...Is there a way anyone can find out who applied when unsuccessful. It would make interesting and great reading who the club have turned down...

Not sure the little bastard would be an ideal candidate, especially after that threat of legal action :?

Back off Yeovil Gould is fucking brilliant.  Alright?

Rhys Evans in the WDP as well saying King had an 'abrasive' personality when things weren't going well that didn't help at all.

Also confirmed it was purely Devlin that signed him and not King.

Jimmy's experience may come in useful the season after next.

Probably come in useful this season but I think he's injured at the moment and won't be fit until December.

How old is he anyway?

People are too harsh on Jimmy Quinn... His task was impossible in my opinion.
