How could we have possibly been better off with King?

That would have developed into all out hatred on the terraces. He had to go. Deal with it.

Scapegoat? Maybe, but the top man is responsible. We cant buy a win away, but teams like Southend and Bradford are comming down here and winning. Thats unnaceptable. Why make excuses for a man who has now left the club?

Actually seeing his face on some of your avatars does make me feel sick.

The bloke was massive baggage for the club. If he had just had a little more tact he could have galvanised our fan base. But he wasnt really interested in doing that, it was the Andy King show, like it or leave it.

Egomaniac. Andy King is interested in Andy King. When Brady sacked him he was badly treated, but he said he's rather see the club go under than not get his money. He held the club to ransom to get re-appointed. How can anyone expect to be universally liked after that? Then he would excrete rage upon fans who didnt like him. Not much of a pro. We needed those fans Andy. You didnt, but STFC did. People defended him by saying you should support whatever, but it doesnt work like that (why should it?, half our problem with the ticket prices is the board take the loyal 5,000 for granted). He offended a lot of people.

And finally I dont buy this whole 'he was a character' BULLSHIT! That is the biggest load of BOLLOCKS I hear again and again. Who gives a fuck? If I want a character Il watch some muppet on saturday night TV. I just want someone to do a good job. I dont want a 'maverick' who pisses off half our fans. Thats why I defended him when he did well, but I wouldnt even bat an eyelid if he died tommorow. No sentimentality for the bloke.

That was spot on, bar the last sentence a bit harsh even for King I thought!

under King we may have gone down.  i seriously think thats a given now. Sad

Agreed except under King we wouldn't have gone down.

I certainly don't remember the atmosphere when Quinn was here being any better incidentally, it was absolutely dire.

Considering we were nailed on going down it was good. Anyone remmember QPR away 2-1 defeat? We all spilled out onto the streets singing Wise Men. Thats never happened under Kingy, let alone after a defeat.

They were arseholes 2 years ago after rounding up every Swindon fan who left the ground and then escorting them back to Paddington, luckily we persuaded them that we were staying at my mates house in London.
