Great cross by Munroe but nobody in the box after a great pass by Nichols.

Their keeper looks as bad as his haircut.

Yeah we don't exactly look superb in defense but we're 2-0 up and haven't had to produce anything that special to get there really.

As with almost every game last season, you only have to be a bit better than average to win games in this divison. Something we are doing comfortably at the moment. Just dont lose concentration.

We could make 5 subs at HT and i don’t think the standard drops.

HT 2-0

Not under much pressure by them and quite routine so far. Just keep up 2nd half with the same stuff.

So important to get a second before half time. Oldaker can really pick a killer pass but Glatzel was given acres of room. Great calm finish though. Kicking towards our fans second half and a really strong bench to call on when legs get tired. A third would give us the game surely, we’re by far the better team and not playing our best either.

Modern day Miglioranzi

Never forget insisting he was class as my two mates joked about how shit he was in his first few games. He blasted a couple over the Town End and I was getting mocked relentlessly. I was proved right in the long run.

I knew my shit back then. Lived and breathed football. Before the last decade or more of shite battered my love for the game.

Think I'd get Oldaker and Nicholls off as soon as possible as the ref idls strangely unpredictable.

Pretty routine but can't imagine Barrow being so poor in the second half.

So easy so far but an early goal for them changes it all!
Ref is shit.

Don't think anyone has had a poor game so far, everyone at least a 7/10, special mentions to Oldaker, Munroe and Glatz for me.

That was a really enjoyable half. Granted, they missed an absolute sitter, but apart from that they have rarely threatened. Going forward we are causing them so many issues and I think Palmer will cause even more problems for them when he is inevitably introduced in the second half
