Enjoyed that game and atmosphere last night. We won so that was nice and I thought it showed our squad depth is looking good for this year when the manager is able to manage minutes of players and still get a result.

I can see why Holloway does not start Princewill in league matches. In my view he looks great going forward, but switches off on defence mode. Like he puts all effort in one way. Palmer on the other hand looks really good fit in this team. His little chest offs and ability to know where his team mates are is great.

Positives, when we pass the ball around in attack and press when we are defending we look quite good. Holloway having this 'you need competition at every position' seems to be raising the bar of individuals to try and get into the team. Kilkenny is on fire at the moment and looks class.
Negatives, Playing around at the back was dodgy. If in doubt hoof it out...Long ball crept back in last night in periods and we did loose it like we have been, but think Palmer is very good at his distribution and when it found him he kept hold of it or won a free kick, so might mean we become 2 dimensional in attack and makes teams hard to plan against us as we could play out or go long. So if they become good at it might turn into a big positive..

Crowd came through nice and loud on the telly. Granted it was probably a group of 100-200 getting some noise going. Probably helped with it being right next to the commentary box! Reading end sounded dead after they went behind?

Ah. I see.

I know it's just rumour. Assuming it was true, I'm suprised that's got investigated rather than sorted in house.

Then again, I'm assuming the investigation is the FA not internal. Suppose if it's FA and he's found guilty the FA will release a statement

Odd that he has lamped one of his team mates yet seems to still be playing in the team with them, equally strange that the FA are involved as if it happened in the dressing room someone must have reported it to them, and if it was an assault why hasn't the person who get the FA involved also got Inspector Knacker on the case.

Like so many of the rumours that surround this shit show of a club, plain odd.

I really get the impression that Ward is not at all comfortable with short passes, not helped at times with limited people showing  for him, hence the hoofing albeit his hoofing seemed pretty accurate at times.

Admittedly from one and a half games but Palmer seems better at holding up and brining others into the game than Smith is, the one thing that leapt out last night was when we are playing well we challenge for and tend to win second balls, when we aren't, we don't.

I'm not sure this CharlieStfcc fella on Twitter is particularly helping. Seems to spread a lot of rumours / half truths and has been caught out before giving false info. Seems he wants to be / is on the periphery of being ITK without actually being ITK. If that makes sense.

Yeah he does my head in, he tried going head to head with Morshead over the Tabor trial stuff and got destroyed.

Watched on my mobile while doing a pub quiz, I thought Ward looked weak with his distribution and he didn't really impress me much.

Princewill took his goal well, Palmer got a tap in but I still think Smith is a better over all player than him but hes a solid replacement.

Kirkman is such a find, need him on a long deal before he is snatched away by a bigger club.

The free kick by Wright was brilliant, yes no wall but what a hit the pure power beat the keeper.

Cant say I noticed Delaney all game really.

Still we beat the plastic rivals which is always good, my first away game ever was there in 1979 and there is no love lost, back when they used to get sub 4k attendances at derby games.

Nice to keep the winning run going and to win a cup game.

Hard to get much of a feel half watching on a mobile but I hope we keep going for Barrow.

The Clarke thing came out of the blue though, wierd.

I wonder if they’ll have a keeper on the bench this year…

Well, you can rule out Mabete as Clarke is still roaming the earth 🌎

Well our form this season in all games is now LWLWLWWW thats a pretty good start TBH and something we can build on. Winning breeds confidence even if its in a near meaningless cup game.

Barrow on Saturday have LLLWLWL

Barrow fans not overly confident about playing us
