Agree. Better atmosphere (relatively) to Wrexham too.

Thought the attendance was fantastic, certainly way more than I was expecting.

Even when the game is poor there’s something uplifting when your team wins. Whether it’s being part of a collective. That roar when Ward saved the pen. Priceless!
This is what it's all about for me. "We're shit and we know we are" but it's our shit and something good is always a possibility, however slight

I always hate saying things like this as it comes across as sour grapes but in no way at all will he be a Championship standard player. I really like him but can't see him being anything more than league one

The same quote why Adebayo would never play in the Championship, let alone the Premiership.

If a player has attributes you never know if still some room to improve. In the case of Young he is having to accommodate Austin in the team.
Young is relatively quick and strong and proven he can score.
You never know and will be a massive loss for us as others have said Austin looks done.

Had a close up of Young tangling with their No. 5, Inniss. No contest physically - he was a unit and easily ‘eased’ Young off the ball. Wouldn’t mind him here.

Actually I'm not sure that's true in the area. I remember thinking the same when Jerel Ifil was penalised for a high foot (no contact) with a penalty. Looked it up after and the ref was right after all.

in any case it looks to me like young has tried to knee it away and the FGR player has tried a diving header at his knee! Never a penalty but thankfully justice was served.

Ward had given Flynn a headache now.

I remember the Ifil incident, which was at home vs. Hartlepool, the argument was that contact was not necessary for a foul.  Indirect free kicks in the penalty area used to be given, but not now except for a deliberate pass back to the goalie.  The penalty in that case was the only goal of the game and was daylight robbery.

Maybe switch to a 4-3-3. Something like:

                                               Ward

     Dokes                   Brewitt                Clayton                FBT

                                             Kinsella

                               Khan                          Kemp

             Hutton                                                          Shade
                                             Young
I have been calling for this exact system all season TBH, pretty much since August.

According to the Bradford forum Monday’s game v Crawley is Young’s last amid interest from 2 Championship clubs.
Young is nowhere near good enough for the Championship yet, he has some great games but far more poor ones, he is so inconsistant.

FBT is not a left back. Dokes is not a RB.

FBT needs to be CB, Dokes could play CDM?

See, I couldn’t disagree more.
FBT was signed as a left back, and is a good one. He is average at best at CB.

FBT is a left back & I might be over simplifying it but if Dokes can play RCB in a back three - then he can play RB.

It’s not a massive difference…

Dokes can play as a RB in a flat back 4, did regularly for FGR last year. But, he does dislike playing that role and one of the main reasons he signed here was to be the RCB in a back 3.

That is exactly what they are. Dokes a RB and FBT a LB.

A modern day LB/RB can get up and down the pitch. I don't think FBT has the stamina to do that or even has the crossing ability.

Only my opinion of course.

How much up & down they do all depends on how we’ve lined up in front of them.

If we are playing for example a 4231 with two wide attacking midfielders then there is less need for the full backs to get up and down.

I think the problem is all our CB’s are that hybrid type that are better in a 3, and personally I think they would all be better playing with a bigger experienced CB.
