And don't drown in the humongous puddle that's bound to be there by the shop!

If the weather is going to be as bad as forecast, game may be in doubt.

Didn’t we spend money on new pitch drainage?

Can Kemp and Young play?

...or Murphy, expect to know Friday earliest, refusing permission strengthens the parent clubs' bargaining position, so I expect Kemp and Young not to be playing.  Murphy's situation will be interesting.

Where’s this storm anyway. It’s not around these here parts. Rained overnight, no wind at all.

Late morning early afternoon 40/50 mph winds forecast but nothing like they had along the south coast.

I expect all loanees to be playing. Its now quite unusual to refuse permission, and the loan contracts (which I would expect to last 12 months with a break clause if at least two parties agree) are for the full season.

I was always under the impression that all season long loans had a recall option in January

Yeah I think that is the norm now. Season long loans in their previous form don’t really exist for lower league clubs anymore, it’s usually always with a review period in January where the loaning club can recall. Sometimes there is a small recall fee involved like Flynn mentioned for Young/Kemp but for Prem/Champ sides loaning development players down to our level, it’s usually structured by the club loaning the player paying X% of the players wage each month based on how much they play (the more they play, the less they pay) like Wellens mentioned.

Swindon 3 Aldershot 0 att: 7,750 (1,200 shots)
That's a bit optimistic, we normally average between 10 and 20!!
