Maybe we should ask for the match to be replayed  Maybe we should ask for the tapes of the conversation between the lino and the referee?  To be honest I don't think the ref can give it because of the position of the defender and RHM, (assuming his vision is blocked) but the lino must have been looking directly at it, similarly to the non-penalty on Saturday. |

I was at the match but watched the extended highlights back today. We were all over the shop first half. We looked pretty dreadful. Marking for their 3rd was non existent. Much improved in the second half. Nice to see Flynn make some early changes to style and personnel that affected the flow of the game.

I think it's highly significant that we stemmed the flow in the second half, got back into the game, pulled a goal back and if FBT's header had gone in, they'd have been wobbling. In other seasons under different managers, we'd have caved in. Off field shenanigans notwithstanding, I have utmost belief in Flynn and this group of players...

Do you have a (free) iFloow account? The only way I could watch it was to login and watch the match replay. From the camera angle, you see the defender slide directly through the back of RHM. You can't see if there's any contact on the ball but to me that's pretty irrelevant. |
