FVR lost
Tranmere ended up drawing.

Great gains for both Northampton (who did win  Doh ) and STFC.

it's become incredibly tight again. With Town on 49pts in 7th yet Tranmere sit in 2nd with 56pts. However - Tranmere must be sweating like the Pedo Prince as Town and several others in the POs have two GiH on them.

Are Nailsworth FC starting to buckle?
Have Town hit momentum at just the right time?

Who knows but let's enjoy the last two months of the season and seeing Town really give it a go - even if they fail spectacularly. Going by today they gave it a decent go.

Back to back 3-0, back to back wins - back to back clean sheets. Call Housekeeping and tell them we don't need them!  Wink

We’ve just beaten 2 of the worst sides in L2. I’ll wait until we’ve played a few sides better than them 2 to decide on Garner.

Tbh, it’s not just based on what happens this season, it’s that I’m struggling to see him having an impact in L1 - if we get there.

I don't think you can deny McKirdy after 1 goal and 2 assists.  Reed, O'Brien a close second and an honourable mention for Aguiar for me.
100% agree, McKirdy MotM for scoring 1 and setting up 1, but the way he dealt with the verbal ubuse all game and relished in it shows hes grown up a lot this season.

Almost faultless performance by the whole team i thought.

Men against boys and tbh we played them off the pitch at times, they had no answer to us.

381 was a great turn out again by Town fans too.

Credit to Garner who addressed the concerns of a couple of weeks ago and i think its no coincidence that we changed to 4 at the back and in both games won 3-0.

I enjoyed that today.

Garner:
- Last two games back to back 3-0
- Better side at half time. Should have been 2-0
- Second half could have had more. Was willing one in for Parsons
- Timing, movement and decisions were good
- Have worked on that in training
- Fantastic ball from McKirdy for third and great position taken up by Barry
- Back to back clean sheets pleasing
- Couple of things to look at at the back. Especially towards the end
- Its not down to formations its down to players performing
- McKirdy maturing as a player and a person. Lovely part of the job when you see players do that
- His ability is impacting games and long may it continue
- Tried to help him get his head in the right place and handle emotions. Let ability and effort do his talking
- McKirdy rolled his ankle in the first half. So protected him for Tuesday
- Really pleased with Aguiar's performance. Really growing and grew in this game. Has nice technique. Decision making and physique has improved this year.
- Davison: Didn't see, but there were a lot of decisions let go and things boiled over then
- Referee made great decision to let things go when we scored, but there were things that were let go (fouls) in the first half that needed stopping
- New manager always gives team a lift. Flynn has a good squad at Walsall. Know them well.
- O'Brien: Really important contribution. Very steady and mature character. Has been improving on the ball. Really pleased at his development.

Barry:
- Really satisfied with the second 3-0
- Dug deep at the end
- Talked about getting the second at halft time. When we did, we eased into the game
- Short, sharp passes: We have worked in training on knowing where everyone is.
- First league goal: Really happy with it. Gives confidence. Hope he can solidify his place in the team
- McKirdy loves the camaraderie and a great team mate
- Frustrating at Ipswich. Didn't play much. Close knit group here. Really good group to come in to.
- The way we play, he is able to express himself. Need to work on getting the simple things right.
- Barcelona experience: Lots of technical and psychological stuff on the pitch. Lots of 1 on 1s talking with Kluivert. Learned a new language.
- Only 18 but has had a lot of experiences.
- Wants to kick on for promotion.
