Just walked in door.
I know a fair few didn’t make it. Was touch and go for us.
Some incredible stories, from taxis to coaches, lifts etc.
After all the players and Club did us proud today.

Carlisle stewards class.
Proud to get the flag up right behind the goal.

Preston Paul - hope you see this post. Legend and owe you one ⚽️

Your following of the town is legendary and having made the trip there when Cooper was manager I can only stand back and admire your dedication, especially with the bad weather of the last few days making an already difficult journey something akin to a Phileas Fogg/Dr. Livingston epic expedition.

What a day.

I'm going to read all this tomorrow.  Suffice to say today ,(yesterday) was special.  I'm going to read the comments properly tomorrow.  But proud that there's a house full of kids here - my lot & their cousins - many miles N of Swindon just buzzing after that win.  Keeping the red flag flying in Scotland.  Also lovely, as ever, meeting old friends.

Your kids a credit to you and Mrs Ardiles.
Lovely lads and great to meet you again yesterday, was laughing getting our flags back after the game.
Your boys was enjoying every minute ⚽️
The Rangers lads with Glasgow Red were having a right crack and evidently drank Carlisle dry before the game 😇

On the face of it the expectation is we keep moving forward in terms of personnel, training, tactics, fitness, player understanding and so on. That is this season sorted. We get promoted then I have absolutely no doubt about next season in L1 in terms of not only survival but actually making a significant challenge for back to back promotions.

Duchess has picked us up.
Ditched at Buckingham. Should be able to claim a refund on the tickets.
Above all a Swindon Supporter driving down from Preston to pick us up from Wigan.
Absolute class and what it’s all about 👍

No worries. Wasn’t even going until you called, glad you did as it was a cracking game to watch and thanks for buying my ticket.

Commaraderie -  Great to see it -  that’s what football’s all about.    (Except with shithead and pox fans).

It’s not something we all didn’t know but Reading were playing in the same vicinity yesterday - Preston, not as far as Carlisle, but the same neck of the woods.

I see there’s a video doing the rounds of Carlisle player Omari Patrick getting in a right old scrap trying to gain entry to a club after the game.
