"I'm going to give it a miss."

He actually said that as if it were an invite to a party he didn't fancy joining.

Better late than never.....

Sheridan:
- Similar to a lot of performances
- Brilliant opportunity to take the lead
- We just cant defend as a team
- We make so many little errors that lead to silly, cheap free kicks and corners
- You can see little things creeping into the game to give them a chance
- Could have been 6-3
- We've had some very good chances
- I have to look at myself. Whether I picked the right team
- The players need to look at them selves.
- I'm going to 'em...I'm going to 'em....Have a break now.
- Even for my health. It won't do anyone's health any good when we get beat week in week out
- Its not right the supporters or for the club
- I felt 5-6 games ago there was a chance and we could have turned a corner
- We could string a few results possibly get 5-6 points away from the bottom 4
- But we went the other way
- There are too many things happening week in week out
- I'm going to give it a rest
- There are one or two people would will be pleased. I'm sure a lot of people will be pleased
- Its football. I just seem to be saying the same things every week
- I've spoken to Paul Jewel. I'm going to talk to the Chairman
- I'm going to resign. I felt like it 3 weeks ago.
- I do care about football and I do care about Swindon (voice was breaking up a bit here)
- I came here expecting to do really well
- Injuries and not keeping a settled side haven't helped. I don't like to keep changing things
- I look at my position. Its a difficult thing to do
- There are 4 games to go
- Hopefully someone can come in and work a miracle
- Where has it gone wrong? We have been inconsistent. Consistently we haven't done things well enough
- We have competed well in some games. But we have conceded so many poor, poor goals
- We give so many opportunities for team to cause problems
- Players being injured and we havent had reserve fixtures, so players come back unfit
- We havent got enough points or kept t he ball out of the back of the net
- I get on well with all of the players
- I am demanding on a saturday on the pitch
- I look at myself and hopefully t he players look at them self
- Ownership is nothing to do with it. Its sgoing out on the pitch and having the right mentality
- We are the quietest team on the pitch. The opposition give more help to eachother than we do
- Advice to successor? Every manager is different. I dont think my advice is good enough
- I know I can manage and I have been a good manager in the past. Player injuries and loans havent worked out. I've messed around with the defence and the goalkeeper too many times
- There are lots of things that I could go on about, but its time for someone else to have a go
- January window: Wouldnt say anything bad about the club. Had 100% backing from Jewell and Power
- Tried to give my best. Always knew it would be difficult
- Players and myself have to look at ourselves
- Jewell reaction? It was a short conversation on the phone. Made it clear to him in a short conversation that I'd like to go.

The whole post match thing wasn't broadcast on line. The only bit in the Talk of the Town link was the Sheridan interview.

Read the commentary.

Wimbledon blokey blocked Palmers shot before slotting past Camp.

Originally I couldn’t work out if the Dons played had a scored an 80 yard screamer or whether Matt Palmer was trying to shoot from inside his own penalty area. Obviously it was neither.

That was the worst performance of the season and the bar is extremely low. Absolutely appalling effort from the players in what was an enormous 6 pointer. That said, it was hardly surprising giving what is going on at the club.

Hopefully we can at least put in a shift in the last few games and end the season with a glimmer of respectivity now we can finally accept we are down.
