Where possible we need a complete fresh start - Owner, Boardroom, Management & a very large majority of the squad.
Yep. They are all stained by this season now, confidence will be shot if they still see each other.
I still countenance the players are not as bad as they are performing, not all of them. They are being sent out with muddled minds, muddled formations, the odd player here and there that shouldn't be there, which creates confusion, apprehension etc. Footballers are a bread that are usually separated at this level by the brain - the mentality.
Take Hope - he's OK, he can cut a career between this division and the one below, but he's a one trick pony and you only use him if you need a player to perform that trick. Asking him to play left back is not going to help anyone.
Payne - a luxury player for most teams, and Isgrove type. You don;t ask him to be the teams water carrier.
Palmer - probably an attacking midfielder who is always going to look shit as a holding midfielder. A player that has been able to get a Championship level contract before us, who has a highlight real that looks completely different to the player we have been able to see ALL season.
And so on.
We are seeing the worst that every player can produce right now. Whether their best would be enough is another question, but they are never going to produce that in this set-up.
