In a first team match?

Paul Robinson against us for Leeds, and Jimmy Glass' famous Scarborough killing Carlisle effort when he was on loan from us.

I was pretty sure it's never happened, but then started wondering if I'd forgotten anything obvious, or maybe something from the history books.

Pretty sure its not happened in my 45+ years of watching Swindon, before then though, no idea.

I remember one keeper but not for the life of me his name or roughly when it was that had a clearance bounce just once and the ball went a yard or so over the bar at the Town End in slightly windy conditions.

Not for us, but I saw this one in the flesh while wearing a Swindon top

Not really what you're looking for but David Lucas scored in a penalty shoot-out vs. Wolves.

Closest I think we'll get. Had a meander through the swindon-town-fc archives in case someone had done something in the 1890's, but just ended up watching 6 days to Saturday. Which was nice.

My grey matter may be playing tricks but didn’t we have a goalie score in a penalty shoot out at SN1?

I do this regularly.  Lovely film.

I think it has it's own thread somewhere.

Couldn't see anything at http://swindon-town-fc.co.uk/StatAttack/TeamTableResults.asp?Type=PSO, but the shootout scorers aren't always listed.

May have even been an opposition keeper. But hey as I stated my grey matter could be playing tricks.

It is fantastic. There's a bit in the boardroom where they are discussing a possible new North Stand, which  took me on a bit of a random tangent of the works of architect Pier Luigi Nervi, wondering what would we'd have got if the North Stand they'd commissioned him to design actually got built.

Alan Mcdonald both played in goal for us and scored for us, seeing as we're scraping the barrel.

That would have been amazing and would probably have been listed.

Ooooh. Having to put an outfield player in goal. That must have happened more often!
