I feel sorry for Tyler Smith, he's always looked useful to me.  Keeps defenders honest and his scoring ratio isn't that bad either.

It's not been good, but better than a lot of what we've seen. Blackpool are better than a lot of teams we've seen too.
Absolutely.

Anyone who went into this game full of optimism after the last 2 wins really was delusional. Blackpool are the form side in the division.

We didn't press them after the first 20 mins and they took advantage of that to the fullest, we had a few half chances that we didn't take, they had 2 good chances which they scored from. Not only possession but they have been way more clinical than us.

Time to bin Brett, Brett, Brett, Brett Pitman, Brett Pitman off. Hope and Smith up front Monday please
Disagree. Pitman wins headers and bullies the defence. His legs have gone so he doesn't do much else. He's been offside a lot today, but Smith is ALWAYS offside. He runs about but his finishing isn't good enough. Hope just flatters to deceive. Not good enough to play on the left nor up top.

Also think they were the worst possible team for our makeshift backline to play against. Unlike Fleetwood and Rovers they look to and have the quality to get in behind and you end up with the likes of Iandolo having to defend runners in behind which we know from his games at left back he really struggles with and resulting in both goals today.

That's down to our petulant manager who won't play him

This will be home defeat number 12 of the season in the league, the 10th under Sheridans tutelage.

Thats not good enough.

Easily the most home defeats in a season in the clubs history.

Love that word "tutelage". Rarely hear it outside of football.

Didnt embarrass ourselves i suppose but they were easily better than us.

Needed to nab the half chances to have any chance...

Better away from home and as JJ states we cant really cant get any worse at home!

All eyes on Monday then, how do Burton play now? If they look to get on down the sides and in behind I’d be a little fearful, if it’s all in front of us like Fleetwood and Rovers it’s less of a concern,

Most of the result went our way at the bottom at least, we didn't give up and fold as previously we have done.

Not a great performance but as others have said it was far from the worst, at least a few players put in a shift without much end product though.

Blackpool passed it better (after the first 20 mins) and were far more clinical in front of goal than us with 2 decent strikers who both bagged a goal today.

Tight as a gnats chuff at the bottom and Monday is a big ole game for us, lose and we are back in the mire but grab a win and the table will look way better. Each team will be playing leapfrog until the final game of the season.

Routine for a pretty decent Blackpool.

first half first 20 were ok. last 20 was reverting to utter shit.

serving half  had more endeavour, but we didn't do anything of note until they scored the second. It was a pretty much non event.

we've played worse, but Blackpool has better quality and deserved it

Monday was always a bigger game for us
