It's Easter maybe?

Surely that's too easy.

I thought it was because the referee in charge was called Lenny CadburyEgg

Given it's on Good Friday, I think it's pretty much obligatory to predict that we will be crucified before rising again in a Shezzarection against Burton on Easter Monday. Erm, something about eggs..

The suns out. Might as well predict a win to celebrate.

2-1!

Sod’s Law a former Town player will score on Friday. I suppose that’s the price you pay when your chairman won’t splash the cash.

Town 1-3 Satsumas

What’s the Easter Connection, folks?
This may help, you heathens.

1 defeat in 15 games for them, they hit a patch of form since ex Town loanee Dan Ballard joined them in January. WWWLWWWDDWDDWWD.

In home games vs them Town have won 6 drawn 9 and lost 3 scoring 25 and conceding 23 goals here.

Our biggest win a 4-1 in 84 when Alan Mayes bagged a hattrick.

Our heaviest defeat was the embarrassing 6-2 defeat in Sept 86 under Macari a game that proved to be the end of the line for Town keeper Kenny Allen who was replaced in the next game by Fraser Digby. We had the last laugh that season though as we were promoted via the PO's and Blackpool finished mid table.

That defeat in 86 was Blackpools last win at the County Ground a run of 7 games unbeaten for Swindon.

Keshi Anderson is out for the game but ex Town loanees Ballard and Yates are in a good run of form with Yates sitting on 17 goals in all comps (including 7 penalties).

They also have ex Town players Kevin Stewart and Stuart Moore as well as assistant manager Colin Calderwood.

Swindon 0-3 Blackpool.

Points deduction incoming

I reckon Cassidy has one or two folk in the Groundskeeping team that might just be able to scratch the surface. Probably doesn't need cutting, but marking up no doubt  Wink

So many STFC connections it has to be a loss really doesn't it. Would love it if our shithousing can carry on but severely doubtful... Blackpool look a good side and we, we.... don't.

We could make this work to our advantage,  anyone can play on a bowling green type surface, takes a 'specialist ' type team to control a ball on our  'horse of the year ' type pitch, plus of course we have the 'wind tunnel ' advantage !!.I
