I don't care how well you try and organise your defence, if you insist on just lumping the ball forward to a forward line ill prepared to work that way, you are going to give away possession far too often to be able to defend everything thrown back at you.  You are also relying far too heavily on luck to score as you build no pressure on the opposition defence.  It is a recipe for disaster.
100% this.

Notwithstanding playing a “lump it forward” style with a forward that can’t move, playing a natural wide player and such a physically light weight midfield you will continually lose possession that we do.
The defence is under constant threat and gets exposed.

We can see it but this fuckwit dinosaur is clueless.

Realistically I can’t see anything but a spanking. I’ll save my tenner again even though it’s not going to a poor relation to the Krays or Richardson’s.

Have you seen him play? Cheesy

Say what you want about Curran, he’s scored more than Fryers, Grounds, Odimayo, Lyden, Thompson, Hunt and Omotoyo combined this season... Nailed on favourite for my MOM vote on Saturday afternoon #legend

Is this a new tactic to hide our frailties from the opposition and catch them by surprise? Should this be in with the Match Day threads?

Pre match considering my position somewhere in North Swindon.
Cannot ever recall going from the optimism and the feel good of promotion etc to the depths of exasperation in such a short space of time.
Even the DukeOfBanbury has given up. Eek
Hopefully not a case of things getting a lot worse (off the pitch in particular) before the outlook improves.

Wonder what it was like at training on Monday.
A couple of awkward harrumphs and then “Right, get the cones down Tommy, we’re working on shape today” and carrying on as if nothing had happened or was the time used to move on and clear the air with an open and honest exchange of views involving the whole squad.

As to the game, this would probably have been a weekend in Blackpool and a pleasant ride on the tram this morning to get to the back of beyond for some hydration.

I’m useless at predictions so here goes.
The new goal keeper bounce will see an inspired defence repel all boarders for a clean sheet and blistering barnacles & kipper me capstans, Brett Pitman to sweep in the winner from two yards with a stylish Rabona.

That means that we won’t hear the Trumpet Hornpipe in all it’s glory.
The piano accordion looks like a difficult contraption to master.
This fella does it very well.

Reality. Regulation defeat. Fleetwood not been conceding and we don’t keep clean sheets.
