Hey, I was at Lethbridge Road Primary in 1970. Maybe we were classmates!
I was at school with lots of kids that started school at Lethbridge in 1971, they all went to Drove School and Euclid Street along with me.

Grim reading this.

Trying to come to terms with how I am feeling with all STFC right now.
I think becoming older has made this worse as I crave for better times, made even worse because last season I absolutely loved every minute of it.

I have gone from hope, downbeat, sad and depressed.
Now I have simply come to a method of just letting it go. The fact that I don’t have to make a choice to go to the games maybe a blessing but equally being at the games I could at least voice my concerns.

We have to sit back and let this bottom out and it will. The sooner the better and only knows where the base point will end up being.
What a mess.

I might be a year or two ahead of you - I left in 1970. Only names I remember from my class were John Beard - from a local family building firm - and Karl von Buren, which sounds terribly exotic for the era - I wonder what his parents' story was? Looking him up now, it seems he went on to Commonweal and eventually became Head of global Equity at HSBC. Blimey. Eek

Yeah I left school in 82 aged 16, you were a similar age to my sister who left school in 79 so she may well know them.

Thanks for the stats, Venks.

A badge of misery to have lived through the worst manager ever epoch.  Let's hope a couple of immaterial, fluke wins don't spoil the stat.  That would make me miserable.

As has been observed, only JS and Power still hanging around stinking the place out next season could be worse.

Seems apt for someone whose name seems to have slipped my mind

I may be older than most.

However, we have all suffered enough trauma to have understandably needed to blank out certain episodes of STFC history from our memory banks.

In my case, I have zero recollection of Kevin Amankwah's friend ever having managed Swindon.  Sounds like it was pretty awful.  But not THIS bad.
