We're no longer voting for Man of the Match, but "half-decent cameo over 45 minutes or less".

Scrabbling around for crumbs. What a fucking shitshow this club has been turned into.

A Grant for looking like a footballer for a bit.  Lyden did OK.

The Beast Anthony Grant by a country mile for me.

At fault for the second goal though. With players queuing up to his right, he played a high pass backwards to Thompson, forcing him onto the back foot and the rest is history.

Lyden for me. Great ball for the goal and good in possession all game.

wow, that's harsh. Thompson totally fucked that in my eyes.

I think he's a decent player, Thompson, but that was dreadful

This, and add Trueman into the mix, comedy goal.

I feel a bit for Trueman. He fucked it but had a split second to decide.

Bad decision though

Trueman 5
Looked dodgy all game. What the hell was he doing coming that far out of his box! Glad thats his last game.

Caddis 5
Defended well in the first half, but lack of pace caused problems. His crossing was poor again today. Player getting to the end of his days unfortunately.

Broadbent 5
Last ditch diving in looks spectacular but if you have to do it it means you were caught out of position in the first place. Awful distribution in the first half

Conroy 5
Lack of pace caused so many problems with the wind in our face. He and Broadbent decided not to mark Akinde or Oliver for 15 mins – They scored 3!

Thompson 4
One foot wonder. Bad, bad decision making ! Coupld of turns that look lovely, but were risky! Awful passing, especially to give a goal away.

Lyden 5
Looked good in the first half but didn’t influence in the second

A Grant 5
Best player in the first half breaking things up and linking play. Disappeared in the second before being substituted.

Twine 5.5
Couple of free kicks won and shots taken. But, thought he was lucky to stay on the field with his constant moaning and then pushing a player.

Garrick 5
Quick. Fast. Speedy. Does nothing after that other than commit fouls or lose the ball

Pitman 6
Well taken goal. Led the line as best he could. Lack of service again.

J Grant 4
Did nothing.

Subs:
Curran 6
Roughed up Akinde and Oliver. Defended solidly. Not as bad as some make out. There is something there, but he’s not a L1 player (but what he replaced isn’t either!)

Odimayo 6
Pace helped. Gills standing off helped. Won the ball. Passed the ball. Good cameo.

Payne 6.5
Created things from CM. Bright spark. Nice cameo, but maybe because Gills stood off him and let him play. But made a couple of lovely through balls.

T Smith 5
Stood offside most of the time. Should have scored one when put through. Blasted over when offside too. Looked more threatening with 2 up front

Iandolo 6
Put in a couple of good crosses. Did more in the game than both Thompson and J Grant.

Go on then, how far ahead is M Smith still? Is DJ still second?

M Smith is still some way in front in total votes and has twice as many MoMs as anyone else. You may be surprised at second and third placed players. Clue - the player in second earned half his votes in a single game.
