Me too. That was a pretty raw listen. My sympathy is limited and it’s abundantly clear he needs to go. But that sounded like a broken man just then

Agree. Sheridan isn’t the fault. The owner is.

Sheridan was most definitely part of the fault of this season

Sheridan going will solve very little and won’t stop us going down.

Getting in another manager is next to pointless. Whoever they may be won’t be here for the long term, neither will the players or the owner.

We needed to completely reboot, top to bottom. Gut the club out and start again. Think Twine is only person I’d want here next season.

It probably won't stop us going down but it at least gives the new manager time to.look at what needs changing.

Sheridan is far from blameless me ol’ mukka. He’s almost as far from blameless as it’s possible to be. He’s merely a planck length behind Power.

Yeah but the new manager isn’t going to a long term appointment is it?
He’ll just be a caretaker till the end of the season. Who will have no say in who next seasons squad.

Depends if it’s Power’s decision who to appoint - or Clem’s.

Let’s confirm he’s out first. Any appointment will be internal, I’m sure. Hopefully swiftly followed by Power.

Agree on both counts. I'm torn between who put it better: GWReds

"Feel sorry for him as a person. It’s never easy going through hard periods in life. BUT, him sticking with it is making everything worse. He should have been an adult weeks ago and left."

or Spacey:
"Sheridan considering his position is like considering changing your pants 3 days after shitting yourself. Just get gone."

Who knows, with things as they are could Power back down and go, we could (hopefully) have new owners with a totally different outlook, and budget, sooner than we imagine.

If the manager resigns, I hope everyone gets behind Sam Ricketts when he comes in for the rest of the season.
