Thought Town may have got something from the "free hit" of Mackem City. Possibly deserved a point but tomorrow's task is tougher, despite the Gold Top swallowers dip in form.
On current points prediction, this and Sunderland were always down as losses. The "extra 4pts gained v Crewe and Lincoln mean Town are above their target. Town have shown that they can beat the teams around them so I think they will be alright come season's end. It does appear that at least four other teams are shitter or marginally more shit than Town. Possibly one or two more.
A scratchy point would be lovely but expecting a loss. It will probably be another 1 - 0.

It's not that uncommon in other sports to have players take extended breaks - Rugby the obvious one, but even someone like Will Pucovski in cricket has had a few and taken some very long breaks and struggled to recover. Especially if he's had one before, which wouldn't be a huge surprise bearing in mind his playing style. |
