Been so many times when we have sat there thinking Town could play all day and not score (when we were playing well, if you can remember those days).  This was one of those days for Crewe.

Fuck 'em, three points and out of relegation zone.  What's not to like?

Absolutely hilarious. That bloke up front for Crewe who missed 17 sitters must be feeling it right now.

Reminds me of a joke, an old one but a golden one, especially after today. The Crewe striker gets back home from todays game and later tonight night he’s ready to bang his girlfriend. So full of himself he grabs her hand and puts on his head. Feel that he says, nodded in two against Wigan the other week. Then he grabs her hand and places it on his right leg. Feel that he says, scored twenty-three goals last season. Grabs her hand and puts it on his left leg. Feel that he says put one against Man U in the FA cup. By now the woman is throughly pissed off with his boasting and is getting ansty as she’s gagging for it. She grabs his hand and shoves it between her legs in desperation. Have you ever felt anything like this she says panting. Eerrr yes he says. Well she replies.  When I missed at hat full at Swindon today....

And his dog has shat in his slippers.

Earlier Darrell Clarke tossed his dog off. Then you turned up to take Artell's dog away.

Imagine being a Crewe fan after watching that.
Completely dominated against a team lacking any game plan or ideas.
We are truly shit but we won and will take that all day long.

Kirk's gained a few compliments and I can see he's clearly a quality footballer.

However.

He had loadsa space.

He was mainly opposite Caddis.  And Caddis looked like he wanted Conroy to deal with him.

For me, Kirk didn't take advantage.  Thankfully.

In all the excitement, those who watched, what was the goal actually like? Twinish or simpler?

Well, hardly. He doesn’t have a Plan A.

Wright:
- Stuck in there.
- Crewe better and most threatening team
- Dug in and believed
- Goal was lucky in first half
- Have to stay in matches
- Showed a bit of guts
- Not a great performance
- Confidence is a bit low
- Defensive structure change because we have been giving away goals
- Grounds and Broadbent coming back and both left footers, hence the back 3 to help them
- Crewe better team technically and most threatening
- In relegation battle, have to hang on
- Showed a bit of fight. About time.
- Wollacott played well
- Travers back to Bournemouth was a blow
- A week training helped Wollacott
- Technical and grit: Effort, resilience and determination
- Determination to keep the ball out of the net and Twine scoring
- Like Twine. Great desire. Just plays like its in the school play ground. Got a soft spot for him
- Graant: Tested for concussion protocol. Day to day thing
- Last week was the concussion. Getting better. Monday Tuesday next week he might be back
- Tyler Smith, Lyden, Joel Grant will be back training this week hopefully.
- Great feeling in the dressing room after the game
- Wright asked Hawes if he supported Oxford or Swindon!!!

Quote from: Angry Crewe Forum Fan Post
Got what we deserved. You can't have Mandron missing 3 virtually open goals and expect anything else. The standard of crossing was appalling, especially from Murphy. I still don't understand the 'tactic' where you have 4 minutes left and it takes you two minutes to get into the other half WITHOUT the opposition having touched it. It's no use only introducing some sense of urgency when we're in added time. Swindon were one of the worst teams we've played this season but all they had to do was wait and let the ball come to them. What did I say about having time off? They looked so lethargic and, and at times predictable. The winning goal was inevitable. I'm really angry after watching that.
