Talk of goal difference is irrelevant as we need the points on the board first.
We’re down with Sheridan and probably down without him. It’s just a shame it’s relegation in the worst possible way.
Hey-ho, it won’t last for ever and next season will be a new dawn.

This is me.
Silver linings so far:
- Beat the Pox (more by luck than judgement but who cares?) - Twines goal - In League 1...thus a league to drop into.
Other than that, all shit.
Beat the Gas too. And the Ipswich game, I enjoyed that.

Only enjoyed some serious drinking in Portsmouth the once, before a gig back in 2019. Meandered from Portsmouth Harbour to the bit around the Guildhall. Would like to a make a day of it again there one day.
Nine visits to Fratton Park, mainly in the 90's. Do remember the 4-3 there in 1994. I think it was the first game after the tragic death of Kevin Morris. The club may already have been on the decline at that time, but some of it's essence was lost after his passing I think. That season certainly went downhill from that game onwards.
Not giving up on this lot just yet and will dutifully fork out the £10 later. Expecting a typical Tuesday night matchday but at least there will be the in depth post match tactical analysis in the company of a Smirnoff Red Label to look forward to. Pyotr Arsenjevitch Smirnov my thanks to you. If the club was a building, it would be some slowly decaying, neglected, dilapidated outhouse in desperate need of a clear out.
Anyway, here's some music, courtesy of a fine Portsmouth garage band.

Talk of goal difference is irrelevant as we need the points on the board first.
Not totally irrelevant, we are going to lose anyway so lets keep the goals against down so that if we can get rid of Sheridan before its mathematically impossible to stay up then goal difference could still count in keeping us up. Of course its about points on the board but we will lose so then its the next best option, keep the defeat as narrow as possible. We’re down with Sheridan and probably down without him. It’s just a shame it’s relegation in the worst possible way.
Hey-ho, it won’t last for ever and next season will be a new dawn.
The concern there is that Power stays on until the court case is completed and he carries on supporting a constantly losing manager as he cannot afford to sack him and pay compo. Or we go into Admin and the administrators see Sheridan is a cheap option and still employ him rather than sacking him. Not a good thought, even if its highly unlikely nobody can honestly totally rule that out under the current circumstances.

I'll give this a miss on Ifollow, I'm fed up with kick and rush. It seems to largely depend on lucky breaks to score and this doesn't provide enjoyable watching.

Except in our case its kick and watch it go sailing past its intended target while the players gently jog up pitch leaving us exposed at the back for the counter as the opposition turn defence into attack, again and again and again.
