So far it looks to me that the defence have been told to just get rid of it, and the midfield and forwards have been given 2 completely different game plans. The midfield and forwards are just not in sync.

Shrewsbury play in a pretty agricultural way, similar to a Flitcroft team, lots of long balls to a big man up front or hoofs down the wings and get balls into the box for the big man.
Pack the defence and launch it up field at the earliest chance.
They play a lower league style that Sheridan probably wishes we play as well as they seem to be trained.
