Real STFC 1-1 Fake STFC

Concerned he may pick Curran ahead of Odimayo which IMO would be a mistake.

I think he will probably go with

                  Travers
Hunt   Odimayo  Masterson   Thompson
Payne    Palmer    Lyden      Hope
             Tyler      Pitman

Might be worth trying Twine alongside/just behind Pitman in the 10 role as he played at Newport but I don't think we will.

I would also rather see Grant given game time ahead of Palmer who has been disappointing for me in the last 2 games, but I don't think Grant will start.

Hunt for Conroy should be the only change from Tuesday.

Sounds like Garrick will be played as a striker.

Hunt in for Conroy and pray our "back to basics" 44fucking2 approach shithouses another 1-0 through a combo of luck, shite opposition and opportunism.

The bits I've seen of the TotalSport summary of the pre-match press conference on twitter sounds like Sheridan's tearing into half the squad.

I’ve never met Anthony Grant, but from what little we can gauge as fans, I’d bet my mortgage that he is not the type of player that reacts well to being frozen out and told to “Work harder”, especially when he has hobbled through the first half of the season. Sheridan is clearly not a man manager. But public criticism of Grant just makes him plane dopey.

Well, yeah, we all know what a lazy sod Grant is, always slouching about on the pitch and never puts his body on the line for the team. FFS  Roll Eyes

I'll knock Sheridan freely, he deserves it, and in this instance I am not sure what he hopes to achieve by airing any dirty washing in public.  But, Grant and Caddis both came back looking 50% fit for this season.  Grant may well have played with an injury but he didn't exactly look raring to go in game one either.  He's be sacked off by a few clubs at this level before.

Saying all that, I'd still play him in the midfield ahead of Palmer.
