I think a half-decent manager would save us. We've got the players.

But I can't see power paying up Sheridan's contract.

A one millionth quality manager would do better than the current incumbent. Absolutely have got the players.

And again, agreed the only way he goes is, if he walks or gets dismissed for gross misconduct...

Sheridan really winds me up in his interviews. Saying he wouldn’t ever tell his team to go long....
Seriously?

Thats his coded way to say....

I am such a useless wanker that I didn't bother to give them any tactical instructions.

Thus wiping his hands clean of the blame.

The man is a total fucking hypocrite and has lost the last of any remains of respect I had of him, the only way to regain any respect is to quit now and walk away as we can't afford to sack the twat.

Thompson:
- Frustrated
- Second half we deserved something
- Not much between sides
- Sloppy goal to concede
- Tried to turn them in first half.
- They were better to the second balls in the first half
- Tried to keep ball on floor. Players have the quality all over the pitch
- Easier to do when they stand off when 1-0 up
- Bit more creative from an individual perspective against Ipswich. Just played and enjoyed myself. After that, I had to adapt to the team and what the manager wants
- Still enjoying playing every game
- Born winner and dont like losing. But enjoy playing football
- We are still in it and can avoid relegation
- Need to find a way that works for us
- We need to create a bit more. Didnt create much in first half. Wasnt enough
- If you want to avoid relegation it doesnt matter whether you are home or away.

I rate the BBC radio Wiltshire team because they probably know as well as us that he is a total plonker.
Trust me, they do.

Yep. Basically said the manager has suppressed his creativity.

That was an absolute embarrassing effort at home to bloody Shrewsbury Town. And it all falls at the feet of the manager who sends out an overly defensive side to play some kind of dinosaur long ball football in the hope that Pitman might be able to flick on and create something.

Surely after a home victory against a fellow relegation candidate you go out at home for the jugular? Not setup as if you are playing bloody Barcelona.

Get rid of Sheridan and get someone who is going to at least have a bloody go at keeping us up. Beyond terrible today.

Yes! (Mind you, the interviewer led him pretty well!)

Within a month, Sheridan has broken a Championship quality LB. All because he might not be "vocal enough".

Sheridan on the training ground to Dom Thompson after the Ipswich win...

'No Nathan, none of that passing and moving and making runs down the channel lad. Only I could do that, no one shows me up. No, you just have to shout louder on the pitch. Shout louder and lump it up field.'
