I think this is some kind of charity initiative. There was one wandering around outside our street yesterday and my Brother-in-law said he's seen some around him in Fife so think its some UK wide thing.

Sam Ricketts might still be looking for employment at that time

Indeed. Town are allowed to accept applications from more than one suitor and I would imagine, also able to approach more than one candidate.

If the current manager secures league one status for another year, I assume that he will be given a fair crack of the whip the following season.

It’s an odd one.

If he does keep us up - then there is very much the argument he has done exactly what was asked of him, so why wouldn’t you give him the following season. In theory no one gets sacked for meeting their targets

On the flip side, you have 16 years of Sheridans managerial career to look over and he’s certainly not one for progressing teams forward. It would be appear ugly partially effective football is his forte (and that’s usually they term forte very loosely) so long term I think it’s safe to say he isn’t the answer, assuming the question is ‘who can take this club forward’

Still a long way to go before he keeps us up, so we shouldn’t start getting too far ahead...

Scraping a few results playing a truly dismal ‘style’ of football is no long term plan to progress a club.

I think we’re all hoping for a complete clean sweep of ownership and management.

Another season with Sheridactyl doesn’t bear thinking about.
