I posted my own crackpot theory a few days ago. A L2 club with a £1.5m wage cap that can knock around the promotion area with crowds of 6000+ would leave enough money to siphon off into somebody’s arse pocket. The income from fans alone would be around £2.5m.
Anybody buying anything wants to get it at the lowest possible price.
