So good to see Lyden back and put in a class performance. He gives us great shape in and out of possession.

What can you say about Twine’s strike?! The best since Matty Taylor’s away at Wycombe?

Jewell’s pulled it out of the bag with Travers, Thompson and in theory, Freeman. Fair play to him and presumably Power for backing him

Very good value for that win, but shame Fryers had to take on the Baudry/Grounds/Odimayo calamity role for their second.

Haven’t looked, but have the Ipswich fans said we’re the worst side they’ve seen this season?

If Ronaldo has hit that we’d be seeing replayed if it for the next decade.

I'm about two hours in to the next decade and I'm not bored of it yet!

Haven’t looked, but have the Ipswich fans said we’re the worst side they’ve seen this season?

Darren Moore has apparently said that he always knew we'd turn it around.

Still shipped our obligatory 2 goals, though. If we are looking upwards we really need to be keeping a few clean sheets.

Get Freeman in in place of Caddis, sign a half decent striker, get Jonny Smith firing and it’s looking good.

My dilemma is that I haven’t had a drink since NYE and I’m a bit of a superstitious person, so does that mean I have to keep off the sauce?
Similarly unhealthy dilemma. I'd polished off a Big Tasty meal and we scored two goals while I was eating a McFlurry. Could be a punishing tradition on my body!

What a delight. Great goals and work rate. DJ worried that full back to death, Twine was clever as well as a great strike. Thompson superb, (so much better than the last defender we had of that name 😉) Lyden gave us the presence we've been lacking in midfield taking a lot of pressure off Matt Smith. Even managed another comedy concession which didn't affect the result.
More of the same please

I can't get Charlton away on the telly, Jan '11, out of my head. History has a way of repeating itself.

That is up there with the best Swindon goals I have ever seen in 45 years.

Kenny Stroud v Everton.
Close but not that good Smiley
Not biting Mate it was a Ronaldo special, absolute mint. The dog disappeared, Duchess gave me the yellow card for bad language and the kids disowned me for a knee slide. 50 year olds can do this ya nor. Smiley

My dryish January is on course. No booze since last Sunday. Heineken 0% beer is order of the day even after tonight’s game.

Also very impressed by Travers' game management - I thought he was a dead cert to get booked at the end with the time he was wasting!

You could hear him all game. Kovar very quiet.

Great result and great performance. What a difference it makes having a goalkeeper. Although we let in our obligatory 2 goals, the defence seemed less panicked.  All played well but Thompson, DJ and Pitman stood out for me. Twine's strike is up there with the best I have seen in my time watching. What an unexpected result. Well done Sheridan and the team.

A couple of interesting snippets in the Sky commentary.
Apparently its needing £380k a month to keep the club going and the Bogle money was £500k.
Implied source: Lee Power.

Great team performance.
A goal that's right up there in the pantheon of STFC long range strikes.
Significant contributions from all of the 'newbies'.
Palmer falls into the very neat and tidy category of midfielders.
Stick a 3 year contract under Twines nose asap.

Dry January. I don't understand. Whatever it is, bollocks to that.
