Payne looks ten times the player further forward. No defensive aptitude whatsoever but there's skill there. Pitman looks as bright as I've seen him in a Town shirt too, and Conroy/Hunt are distributing well. It's 45 minutes late but we look a good side now. The thing that annoys me with this negative defensive set up is that you can't win games without scoring even if you somehow keep a clean sheet. It's all well and good setting up to be more secure defensively but when you are still shit at the back and now have no attacking threat it's piss poor management!
