No idea what we’ve been doing in training but not a single one of our players seems able to control the ball first time.

What a shit show this is. Horror movie bad. Slow, ponderous lacking any sort of game plan.

God knows how many times we’ve booted the ball straight out of play.

has Payne got springs in the outside of his boots?
Even the usually reliable Matt Smith is overhitting all his passes so far too.

I know it's kind of a needs must thing, but how many players on the pitch are actually in their natural position?

Grounds CB -> LWB
Odimayo CB -> RWB
Payne AMC -> ML
Jayeseimi ML -> FW
Conroy CB -> MF

Probably not a huge surprise we're a bit disjointed. If we're gonna play wing backs surely Rob Hunt needs to be one of them?

In fairness, M Smith keeps belting it at him.

And if one of Grounds or Fryers plays out wide, you would think it would be Fryers, who can run.

That's how they are coached to pass, a pro should be able to control it, and should be used to it..

Spot on.
Great move and only 3 Swindon players up front and MKD got everyone back,
Slow and void of ideas.

getting fed up of writing the same shit every match thread. the most infuriating thing about these results is that we genuinely have the personel available to push teams, attack them and score goals.

we set up negative Both home and away, we overlook attacking fullbacks in our lineups and we bypass the midfield to our isolated strikers.

Can’t be many sides where an outgoing manager, who has assembled the squad, turns as he leaves as tells the squad that he doesn’t want a relegation on his CV. It’s not surprising that they lack confidence. That really lacked class from Wellens.

I wasn’t aware he said that?
