Caddis:
- A few choice words said in the dressing room
- Going through a tough period
- Need to go through the cliches and go and work hard
- Most disappointing thing of the night was getting back into it then losing the third goal
- We still have 24-28 games left. We have to be better as individuals and as a team.
- Im a great believer that if you work hard then you succeed
- Of course we are angry. We have pride in our work
- The way we are losing is not great
- The older lads need to help pick the younger ones up
- Caddis performances earlier in the season we're good enough
- This was longest he hasnt played for. He wants to work hard and get back in
- Have to be positive and look towards Saturday. Will look at highlights of todays game and look to see what we could do better
- All games are must win. Not just the Wigan one
- There is belief in the dressing room that we will get back to winning ways

Wright (sounding very angry):
- Will go down if we play like first half. Told the players that at half time
- Some need to wake up or they wont be here. If they perform like that they wont be in football, not just at Swindon
- They are decent footballers on their day.,
- First half effort wasnt acceptable
- You have to run about. When the white thing comes to you you have to pass it to a colleague
- We had no desire or quality
- Total frustration at half time
- If you dont compete then you get what you deserve
- The goals we give away week in week out are poor
- In January we will do something without doubt
- Third goal was offside
- We deserved what we got though as we were played off the park in the first half
- The second half couldnt be worse
- Poor performance. Disappointed
- Dodged question about Kovar.
- Will pick a team that gives us passion, desire and quality
- Didn't see the Hunt challenge, but didnt
- Made a lot of decisions about players after tonight.
- Keep giving bad goals away
- We need to make changes
- Not too sure about the room we have to make changes
- After tonight every position could be changed.
- Very quiet in the changing room. Teams I have played in and coach before would have had arguments in the changing room
- Need more fighters in the squad
- Grounds pulled his calf. Dont know the extent
- Hope is injured. Hopefully back in 2-3 days. Bit of a dead leg
- Football changes quickly. Get 2 or 3 players in and confidence might return.
- There are some good players here, but they have to look at their own performances.
- Wright hopes that we can bring players in
Cheers for the summary.

We really are in trouble if the coaching staff don’t know what a ball is.

Caddis and Wright seem to have been in different changing rooms. I didn't realise the old "losing the dressing room" phrase was literal.

This just confirms what we already knew, too many players don’t give a shit to the extent that they don’t even bother arguing with each other.
Caddis actually sort of contradicted Wright to Hawes. He said that some of the younger ones need to be told by the older ones where they have made mistakes. He also said that the older ones aren't without blame. He suggested that some of the older ones were geeing up the others.

Agree about Hunt. He always seems to do a lot of work for the team rather than looking spectacular himself. Defenders normally do well when you don't notice them. That is what I have always thought with Hunt and Donahue.

Yes, Payne is only useful when he is given a roving role. Think he's more L2 than L1 though.

DJ seems only to be able to play on the left - He didn't look to be putting in much effort tonight.

I think Kovar, T Smith (terrible body language) and Stevens will be gone.

Sadly with the squad imbalance we are trying to cover positions by playing players out of their favoured roles and it’s costing us dearly.
Unfortunate with Hunt as would have gone with both Hunt and Caddis as wing backs the next game with Conroy and Fryers back to centre half roles (Zeki had a poor first half).

We have Division Two quality players unfortunately in so many positions and need to get lucky in the loan market. Tyler Smith as loan Striker is just a big no.
I would peddle both Kover, Stevens and not sure if we have to keep Tyler Smith but struggle to see what he brings.
Lyden has been a big loss. Jonny Smith and DJ can create but need to be played correctly.
Whilst not a big fan of Pitman we have no other options than to play him as the conventional 9 providing he remains fit.
Do nothing we are down but we can turn this around if we act sooner than later if we can.
Need to bounce back against Wigan...........that tonight particularly first half was so poor.

Caddis is hardly going to call his fellow players gutless cowards is he, I think the evidence on the pitch tells the real story.

I think that Wright might have been having a go at DJ. He said that Hope would likely be available at the weekend and would be involved.

Wright said that there were players who were good on their day, but didnt seem to be trying. That looked a good summary to me of DJ (and possibly Payne - who seems more focused on defending rather than creating anything at the moment).

I also think M Smith didnt look as if he wanted to be here tonight.

Not sure if Grant is still injured, but, to be taken off at half time (if not injured) says a lot.

True. But interesting to hear the difference between the two.

The thing I have noticed during the rest of the season is that the player that comes out says 'exactly' the same as the manager/coach.

I left that in to show the way that Wright was speaking with distain about the players. He was suggesting that they didn't seem to know what to do with the ball.

Also, you could read into some of the other things said, that there may be some players who don't want to be here, and that he was saying that noone else will want them because they aren't good enough! The only way out of Swindon is to play well to attract other teams to want to sign them. (But I might be making a big leap there)

I look at the squad list and there isn't as many as I thought that I would like to see out the door in January on reflection

The ones I want to see out the door is Kovar, Baudry and Grounds. Curran can fuck off too if we're clearing out the trash.

From that, the gaps I see is:
- a Target man upfront that Pitman and Tyler can play off of,
- winger that can cross - maybe Twine can fill that hole as it sounds inevitable that he's coming back,
- an advanced playmaker that can play those deadly through passes,
- a left-back that can run and cross to replace Donohue,
- a Goalkeeper that gives the backline confidence and marshalls them like a leader.

Tbh NMH, I think that was just Wright covering his own ass. I still think the main reason is not that several players don't want to be here but that they don't want to play under Sheridan/Wright.

If I was Twine, I'd be begging to stay at Newport. They'll be above us next season.

Oh and Gladwin must wonder what the fuck has happened to this club. On the verge of Championship football a little over 5years ago.

What is sad to ponder briefly on is that Preston are sustained as a mid-table Champ club with forays into their PO positions. Sheffield United are a Premier League club (likely to be a Champ club at minimum). Why is it always Town who seem certain to fucking fail whilst the other go on to success.

We do have to ask a question:

Are Town really such a toxic club?

Ughhh.
