Presume Baudry will be out, but Sheridan didn’t fancy Broadbent to replace him at CB. Can’t really start him up front. I’d still start him in place of Grounds - although he did OK yesterday, tbf.

I'm not sure why he's not rated at centre half considering the problems we've had this season

Grounds last 2 starts have seen us win 2 local derbies, not sure how you can drop him now...

Maybe the horrendous cock ups in other games that we lost. Anyhoo, when/if all our options are fit I’d presume the 2 CBs would be Fryers and Conroy.

Its not that he's not rated. Grounds doesn't deserve to be dropped right now.

I think the ball shaves Tyler Smith's knee kand I mean shave.

I have watched it many times and I think you are wrong mate, Tylers made no connection with that ball at all. Goal for Broadbent and immaculate assist to Clownkeeper.

Remember the grief they gave Vigoroux - calling him a clown.

What goes around, comes around...

Trying to give a considered opinion, but they unfortunately don’t look like a relegation team. Probably lower mid table, but Robbo could galvanise a downward spiral with his ‘everybody’s fault but mine’ attitude.

Dont think they'll go down but Robinson has a habit of getting stroppy.

Tore into his subs and was initially quiet on the keeper until I watched a different interview on quest and he was pretty scathing of him. That will be taken one way or the other in the dressing room. Hopefully negatively!

They play Ipswich and Hull in the next 6 days which is tough.

Yes. James Corden will look like a skinny Karl Robinson by seasons end.

Do any older supporters thing Broadbent’s finish for the first goal was slightly reminiscent of Gerd Muller‘s against England in 1970 World Cup ?

He was only a yard out, Super Tommy was on the 6 yard line. Make your own mind up

OK bear with me for a minute. I might start Broadbent up front with Tyler on Tuesday. Smith is far too isolated without a big man bringing the ball down, and Tom has shown more in 30 minutes than Pitman has in 10 games. Plus, Tom is actually a bit of a footballer for a big bloke. Can pick a pass and has a great tackle on him. And he won’t have a confidence issue.

Given our defensive fragility, having a better out for long balls might suit our game right now. It’s not like we’re spoilt for choice at the moment.

Is this ridiculous? What do you think?

i dunno.

I agree 1 up front.doesn't work with Smith.

sir Tom could have done no more Saturday.

but starting with him up front.. perhaps a bit too far.

I'd address Saturday by working out how the hell to sort the middle of midfield out first.

Oxford commentary on the link below. A bit of build up so fast forward for the calamity goal.

As hapless as that first half performance was, there was some serious fight to win the ball and get it forward in the build up there which has to be commended.
