And that's just the years we've *drawn* non-league teams - how many non-league teams have we actually drawn and then beaten in that time? I have a vague memory of maybe one?

(I'm looking it up on the usual places)

Dartford.

Confirmef on commentary. 6 exits by non league clubs since 2000. Worse than anyone else.
Also there can't be many sides that have fallen at the first fence more times than us

First time I've actually been angry this season, I've tried to not get too affected by it so far but after that  I can't ignore it, to have made the mistakes is forgivable in some way but the manner of the defeat in general is not, shambolic.
Same for me mate. Totally.

Caddis, both Grants, Payne, Smith,  Odimayo (apart from error) were okay. I think we are a weaker side than last year for sure and losing Doughty was really hurt us.

I thought Joel Grant was poor today, otherwise I agree.

Swindon FA Cup:

2020/21 Out first round to Darlington (non-league)
2019/20 Out first round to Cheltenham (League Two)
2018/19 Out second round to Woking (non-league) having beaten York City (non-league)
2017/18 Out second roung to Stevenage (League Two) having beaten Dartford (non-league)
2016/17 Out first round to Eastleigh (non-league, after replay)
2015/16 Out first round to Rochdale (League One)
2014/15 Out first round to Cheltenham (League Two)
2013/14 Out first round to Macclesfield (non-league)
2012/13 Out first round to Macclesfield (non-league)
2011/12 Out fourth round to Leicester having beaten three league clubs
2010/11 Out second round to Crawley (non-league) having beaten Plymouth (League One)

So last eleven years we've won six games in total, and our record against non league clubs is W2 L5. That PDC season is doing a lot of heavy lifting in the positive column too.

(Edit: I can't count to ten)

So last ten years we've won six games in total, and our record against non league clubs is W2 L5. That PDC season is doing a lot of heavy lifting in the positive column too.

That's dismal reading

we clearly don't have a good enough squad.

if and buts on injuries. there is always a long injury list and no real sign that's going to change.

Hunt cutting a sombre figure:
- Sloppy silly goals
- Same mistakes
- Got to change
- Disappointing overall
- Should have scored twice before they did
- Gifted a goal with short back pass. Talked about it all week!
- There will be consequences
- Its unacceptable and cant happen.
- Very disappointed with how the game went
- Spoke to the team about going 2 upfront and getting ball wide
- Players panicked
- Very, very disappointing
- Spoke before the game about playing behind and not infront of them
- Bemoaned injuries
- Jordan Stephens hasn't trained in 3 weeks. He was exhausted
- Donahue went down in the warm up
- Grounds: Can't keep making mistakes.
- Need to see how we go tomorrow and Monday in training
- Worried about the team rather than his chances of manager full time.
- Want the team to learn from mistakes and get better
- Hoping to get one or two back into training this week
- Donahue felt groin in warm up. Had problem with it before. Hurt us as he was good last week
- Iandolo hasnt played there for a while. Only been back training a couple of days
- Hope carrying a knock
- Odimayo has a knock
- Baudry not fit enough to play
- Horrible FA Cup side: Hope everyone is hurting, because he is. We let the club down
- Last 25 minutes we weren't doing things right
- Never been one to lie down. Will go back and reflect. Look at who we have available and get a game plan for Tuesday
- Are we good enough? We have a full treatment room.
- We will most likely be playing a youth striker on Tuesday
- Got to see what numbers we have available and go from there.

Thanks for the bit of craic on the other thread and good luck for the rest of the season. As a fan-owned club we are all inredibly proud of every one of our lads who showed great character, organisation and composure to see off full-time opposition on your own ground. I'm sure you'd agree that we thoroughly deserved that one and we were a credit to non-league football. There are some gems operating at our level, including our centre forward Charman who was a real thorn in your side throughout. Thanks again and good luck. I'm sure better times will be around the corner for you and here's to meeting again one day in the Football League.
