Fair enough, annoyingly and bafflingly.

Existing long enough to complete the season and staying up were my initial hopes for 20/21.

I’ve already revised this to just existing. Under the circumstances, I’ve become numb to the recent poor results and I don’t feel the need to invest emotionally if I’m not there.

So long as the lads show the right attitude, another defeat this weekend will wash over me.

Why bafflingly?

Why bafflingly?

I find it baffling that despite testing negative you have to isolate for 14 days - considering they're looking at reducing that to 7 or 10 days even without a test.

I see your point.

if I heard it right the reduction is because they think people will be more conformant than with a shorter period. A balance of risk, which must be reduced the longer  the period goes.

in any case it may be that one or two of our positive testers have completed the 10 days?

Sounds like ‘academy’ coaches took training this week, with Wellens speaking to them daily in regards to drills etc.

Both could do with bringing their boots.

Guaranteed 3 points for the away team but no biggie.  As observed above, the bigger picture is far more important.

Hope not as we could be bottom of league 1 by five o'clock tomorrow

Points aside, a loss would be meaningless.

Would still be delighted with a win, though.
