so he passed this valuable nugget (tapping his nose) onto his son and heir eh? I get, you never know when these little nuggets will come in handy.

Do we not have any reserves or youth teamers that can fill the gaps?

We took a nostalgic trip there (Cyprus) a few years ago. The first thing he said after we’d parked our beat-up hire car in a dodgy clearance site car park, and pointing to a nearby building, was: “Look, there’s the old brothel we used to go to!” At least it acted as a point of reference for getting back to the car after a visit to the castle. He later told me that my mum knew all about his army escapades, meaning that there was no need for me to mention the incident when we got home.

Everything about his team selections over a few years now suggests Wellens will pick someone out of position before putting in a youth team player he doesn't think is good enough.

Following his release at the end of the 2019–20 season, Romanski joined Polish side Zagłębie Lubin initially linking up with their B team in the fourth-tier.

Line up prediction (4-2-3-1):

Kovar; Stevens, Baudry, Grounds, Donahue; A.Grant, M.Smith; J.Smith, Payne, DJ; Pitman.

Hunch that Stevens will get over his stomach bug. We shall see.

I think you are right, I know Palmer has played right back for Burton and Stevens has played right wingback for Leeds U23s previously.

It will be interesting pick for Wellens, bare bones to say the least.

You still get the feeling that Wellens will magically get one of the injured players fit for today!
