For the first time in ages I can’t watch the game live on iFollow. When is the whole game video put up on the STFC site so I can watch it later?

I think it goes up the day after but am not 100% sure on that.

I am able to watch the whole game but only on mobile as we are away for the daughters 25th birthday so no running sporadic matchday commentary from me this Saturday.

Here we are again.
Probably won’t try and replicate the away day experience on Saturday by setting the alarm for 04:30 and departing on the 06:10 journey down the stairs, taking about 3 or 4 hours with a couple of stops on the way.
So straight to the comfy chair with the beers lined up for about 10:00 it will be.

Been to Peterborough loads of times and it’s a good day out.
Pleased to see that Charters Bar on the River Nene is open for business.

Going back to August 2013, first game of the season and can remember the ball seemingly sticking to the chunky midfielder who came on as sub in the second half and wondering who he?
Little did Kasim know at the time that one day he would make it onto a Loathed Strangers Podcast.
Have no recollection of one Alex Smith at left back that day. Do remember having high hopes for Tijane Reis.

And Claude Gnakpa should be a contender if ever there was a “Would have been a cult hero but didn’t make it into the first team” thread.

Will happily take a draw on Saturday.
Hoping for a performance that’s sharper than a Darragh MacAnthony suit, brasher than a Barry Fry interview and, if needs must, more dour than a Darren Ferguson post-match interview.

Whatever happens, I doubt that this will feature in the pre match music selection.

And a not too taxing quiz question to finish.
Which two former Town managers have Peterborough connections?

I went with a Luton mate the season they went out the league ref points deducted etc etc.

Tin Pot Cup Final and Claude scored from miles out.

Looks likely that DJ will be fit by Saturday. Who, if anyone, would drop out to accommodate him?

Same, really, when Lyden is fit again.

Same front 3 as Saturday I would suggest with DJ on the bench. Some option to be able to bring on!

I would suggest he will play the same 11 (if fit) but DJ will replace either Grant or Hope on the bench. For me the only change in the 18 matchday squad.

Is their manager a character from the League of Gentlemen?

Not worth starting a new thread for, here is a list of league 1 long ball specialists so far.

We are not in it. Smiley

I fear a bit of a battering here if I'm honest. If we're as open as we have been so far, then Posh will defo fancy their chances.

We'll need Baudry to be at the races for a full 90, Fryers to continue his great start and Rob Hunt to find last season's form to stand a chance. Big, big test for Kovar too, and if we get chances, we've got to take them, unlike at Blackpool.

This is one of those games where I'd love for us to have the flexibility to play 433 - Lyden would be in there alongside Grant for sure if fit. RW spoke about Donohue potentially being able to play that role if needed.

                Kovar
Caddis Baudry Fryers Hunt
  M Smith Grant Donohue
J Smith    Pitman   Stevens

Fryer
Payne
DJ
T Smith
Grounds
Hope
Curran

3-1 loss.

It will be interesting to see how well we can cope with the heavy rain forecast during the game.

This will be a really good test, if Wellens wants to get anywhere close to Play offs then need to look at trying to win or draw again Peterborough who usually end up around the play offs area somewhere, be a good yard stick to see how far we have come in a short space of time.

We have the players to cause damage but its the other end we seem to to not be fully solid.

Hopefully Hunt can regain some form as I think the first few games he hasn't looked the same player as last season

We've literally played only 3 games.
