Just had a refund on my credit card, and it's the only amount on the card. How do I transfer the funds into my current account. When I go to do it online it looks more like a transfer as a cash advance, which is subject to fees! I thought I could just draw it down.  Huh?
Or, do I have to get spending on the card?  Smiley

If you speak to your bank they’ll be able to move the money into your current account. Usually takes a day or two

I’ve had to do this on more than one occasion with Halifax, due to the credit card and joint account being next to each other on my list of payees and me being an idiot

I've had this a few times in recent weeks, on closed cards. Just phone the credit card company and they'll doit for you, without the charges you'd normally see on a transfer.
