A tricky one to predict. Should we come away with a win, I for one will be doing a solo chant of 'Keshi what's the score?' in my living room.

Defeat. 2-1

I think this will be the kind of game that Yates will be up for but I don't think he is the kind of player that will enjoy our press and he'll be nullified and taken off relatively early.

Well, the Adver had gone downhill.

I would love it so much if we won 3-0 so Keshi could have that uno, dos, tres thing thrown back in his face.

Will be more than happy though with 1-0 Smith

I'll be negative a say a 4-1 defeat - it worked for the last game  Grin

This will be a much tougher game than Rochdale obviously, so a good test of where we are.

After so many years in league 2 I'm well out of touch with league 1 players. I look at Blackpool's team and cant say I know any of them except the Swindon boys.

with that in mind on paper we will win this. 2-1 atleast.

I had a quick look at their squad. Bez Lubala was good for Crawley last season and Gary Madine could be a handful. I noticed that Jamie Devitt doesn't have a squad number, I wonder if we're still interested in him or if that ship has sailed!

The number 22 for them CJ Hamilton is one of the fastest players I have seen and will be a handful for us as he was for Plymouth last week. Their keeper Maxwell was touted as a future star for Wales a few years back but never broke through, hes a solid keeper at L1 level.

Lubala only came off the bench last week for a minute or so and is unlikely to start but he has played against a few times and he is quick but gets the ball lost under his feet like Woolery a lot.

The only other player who great things were expected earlier in his career is Sullay Kaikai, who broke through at Palace and he was said to be the next Wilfred Zaha, showed great promise early in several loan spells, notably Shrewsbury and Brentford but he suffered a lot of injury problems and has fallen down the leagues but is still only 25. He makes a lot of things happen out wide.

Madine is a massive lump and always causes us problems but he never played last week too.

They are expecting the same starting line up today as they had in their defeat last week at Plymouth 1-0 where they outplayed Plymouth most of the game but didn't outscore them.

Possession
Plymouth 37%
Blackpool 63%

Shots
Plymouth 5
Blackpool 19

Shots on target
Plymouth 3
Blackpool 4

Corners
Plymouth 5
Blackpool 7

This was how they lined up last week.

Turton  Ekpiteta  Nottingham   Mitchell
   Ward        Robson       Anderson
Hamilton       Yates             Kaikai

As always with stats they raise more questions

In what part if the pitch was the possession? , how far out were the shots?

More of the same result would be handy please.

They play a possession based style so it would be all over the pitch.

The shots were often good chances inside the box.

You can see the highlights here, several really good chances in or on the edge of the box. Most play coming through CJ Hamilton the number 22.

Blackpool xG last week was good. Couldn’t finish. It’ll be a test today but they could be leaky at the back. Sounds familiar! I’ll go for an entertaining 3-2 win. Jonny S hat trick, cutting in and causing havoc.
