Given the absence of Matchday Sponsors this season, we should award our own MotM for each game, which should have far more kudos among the staff, since that lot never had a clue anyway.

So here it is, the first Official TEF Man of the Match award.

Maybe we can offer a free second-hand mattress to the season's overall winner.  Too Cool

Hard to choose between Smith M and Odimayo. Went for the former and his goal. Fantastic from both young debutants.

Payne wasn’t far off, either.

Between M Smith and Payne for me, I chose Payne.

I went Odimayo. Thought he looked calm, assured and his passing was on point.

In order to keep it consistent with the real Matchday Sponsors we should all drink at least a bottle of wine each before voting Smiley

Rob Hunt - Does this lad ever do anything wrong?
Knows how to tackle, close down and stays tight to his marker when defending when back towards goal.
Will keep saying it Mr Under rated and dependable.
A very decent player in my opinion.

Why is Man of the Match always abbreviated to MoM?
I’ve never understand why it isn’t MotM.

Rob Hunt is certainly not under rated by Town fans, he is, alongside grant, our most consistant performer over the last year.

His work goes almost unnoticed and just gets on with his job, which he does so well.

Hes going to have a difficult job on Saturday up against the very quick and lively CJ Hamilton who looked very lively for them at the weekend.

If you watch the highlights you will see that almost every attacking move involved CJ and even if they lost they probably should have won, certainly with better finishing.

Agree Duke, although to be fair I think he is widely appreciated by the fan base.

I do wonder, having read RW's comment about Donohue potentially being the best left back in the division, where that leaves Hunt. Would he drop Caddis in order to move him back over to the right? Hard to see really, it's a tough one... Hmmm

Hunt was my #2 (tee hee) for MoM on Saturday. As others have said he's just so consistent.

I think Hunt would move to right back and Caddis be used as a utility player.
