That line up tells me that Wellens/Power could not care less about the fine.
They’ve probably told the EFL to take the fine and stuff it unless The EFL agree to ensure Derby agree to pay us our £3m or whatever it should be.

Watched the Holland vs Italy game yesterday, it was evident how the fitness levels dropped off around the 60 minute mark.  Players bending over after a run, some laying on the ground a bit after losing the ball, generally obvious players were not match fit yet, plus some cramp.  If that's what it looks like at International level, I can only imagine how off the pace it will be at our level for a few weeks yet.

Thanks, the person had not noticed payment being reflected earlier in week.

Not a bad team.  Interesting that Kovar still between the posts and Payne stays in. Good potential up front.

I’m pretty sure we avoid the fine because we have 4 players in the 11 that were involved on Saturday.

The rules have changed a bit this season.

Quote
EFL regulations state that each club must field their ‘Full Available Strength’ in and during all EFL Trophy matches.

In this competition, ‘Full Available Strength’ means that at least four players on the field at any one time must be what the EFL designate a ‘Qualifying Player’.

What is a ‘Qualifying Player’ in the EFL Trophy?

A player becomes a ‘Qualifying Player’ if they hit any one of the following conditions:

- The player started for Swindon in the Carabao Cup against Charlton

- The player goes on to start for Swindon against Rochdale

- The player has made over 40 senior appearances during their entire career, not just at Swindon

- The player is in the list of 10 players at Swindon with the highest number of starting appearances in first-team fixtures in the same season

What happens if the EFL Trophy squad selection rules are broken?

If a club does not start with – or at any time during the game fails to have – four ‘Qualifying Players’ on the field, then they can be fined.

Fines can reach up to £5,000.

It could just be me and a hazy memory, but I don;t ever remember hearing Caddis speak before and, to me, he sounds like Macari.

Wellens sounds like hes taking it very seriously and wants to win it.

With Odimayo playing tonight despite his cramp issues Saturday you’d hope that points to us having Baudry available for Saturday.
