I have it on pretty good authority that we will be playing Melksham in a Friendly next Tuesday at their place, with a small crowd allowed.
Tickets will be going on sale Monday - so keep an eye on Melksham’s Twitter page.

Wellens confirmed, but says it will be youngsters and fringe players.

also we have Brentford at home and Bristol city away. both on Saturday.

didn't think we had enough players for 2 squads Smiley

Bristol City away dosen't sound very good for the players confidence unless they put out a under 23's as they stuffed Cheltenham 4-0 yesterday

Would have been just about my limit to go to for the game, but not to go the day before the game too to get a ticket. Ah well, shame you can’t buy online

Shame that. Won't be going up to get a ticket and certainly wouldn't be paying £12 for a pre-season friendly.

I would, but he did say it would only be youth and fringe players

That's fair enough, yeah I did hear that. Went to the fixture last season and it was used in a similar way without many first teamers, although Keshi did play and banged a hat trick if I recall!

Quote
Anderson, Toumani Diagouraga and Jermaine McGlashan accompanied a largely youthful Swindon Town starting XI.

Trialist Ted Smith was given his chance between the posts while Tyler Reid, Curran, Tom Broadbent and Joe Romanski made up the back four.

Another trialist, Sanohko, started in midfield alongside Diagouraga, Anderson and McGlashan.

Scott Twine and Tear began the game up front.

Spot on. Sanokho scored an absolute screamer!

what happened to sanokho?

I guess we released him, or his diet term deal expired but I can't recall it actually happening

He was reported to be going to Waterford but it didnt happen.

Wellens also said Sidy was a victim of Anthony Grant's availbility from Shrewsbury.
