All very hush hush isn’t it. Makes me think it was us that wanted the media blackout, cos I can’t think of any reason for Man Utd kids to be so secretive.

No doubt all will be revealed.

As I alluded to, great minds and all that.

I have a feeling that one will be against Stockport at Carrington.

Many NW based non league sides Altrincham, Macclesfield, Stockport,Wrexham, Fylde, Chorley, Chester, Curzon Ashton, Southport.

If you include West Yorks then add Bradford PA, Halifax, Farsley Celtic, Guiseley etc.

A little communication from the club would be nice, and yes the media ban can only be concerning our side in hiding trialists I would think.

I thought I read somewhere that we were playing Salford in one of the games?

Well Wellens said they were both non league so doubt its them.

Thursdays is all the non first team players mostly so not sure what we will hear/learn about that one.

Has there been any more details about friendlies after they are back from the NW?

That was such a great thing about Lou's teams, fit as a butcher's dog.

Although probably not quite Fylde, Andy King was the man for Southport during pre season.  Think it was all we could afford.

SSP alluded to it in this interview.....

"Me and Matty (Heywood) missed the curfew on my very 1st night out in Southport...we were crawling along the grass at Southport Pontins in the pitch black because Kingy was sat on a balcony waiting for everyone. Neil Ruddock had organised the day out in Formby as it was where he had lived during his Liverpool years"
