Agreed, really good to see the club taking that opportunity to show solidarity with what's going on.

Especially so because we have a "double figures" amount of footballers on our professional books this last season with black heritage.

Reid, Bancroft, Fryers, Woolery, DJ, Anderson, Grant, Muskwe, Hope and REG also the ones who have left Toums, McGlashan, Zakuani and Sanokho.

The first two are Chris Kamara I think, didn't he score on his debut?

I thought I read about someone in the 1950s, or maybe earlier?

Can Plow-man help please?

Chris Kamara was the first black player to make a first team appearance for Swindon Town, scoring on his League debut soon after signing for the club in August 1977. He went on to total almost 300 games during two spells at the County Ground.

Surely George Ndah or Wayne Allison scored hatricks for us no?  If no that really surprises me..

If you expand the definition to BAME, then Power gets in as he's Irish.

Nope neither ever scored more than 2 a game. It shocked me when I checked, I thought Iffy got one too.

Got me thinking (dangerous I know), and without checking. Did Mark Walters not either? What a player he was to have here  Smiley

Well if Reg is going to claim Power you might as well add Simon Cox who definitely scored a hat trick
