Reg will all ready have looked and not found any, hence the request.

It seems to his way of making a point.

Quite the opposite.... I know PV does his homework, just I don't remember anyone saying it..... there's a lot of stuff on here going back years, so doesn't mean my lack of recall means it didn't happen.

Going on the content of Reg's previous posts, I wouldn't bother to respond.

I don't know if people have accused Power of not paying wages on time etc. (It might just be that I have forgotten).

But Wellens' comments do seem to contradict a caricature of Power that some people like to paint.

Has any manager ever said out right or insinuated anything against power?? There’s been enough of them now, and I can’t remember anything negative from the dug-out?

Au contraire. Cooper had a great squad. Williams got the shitty end of Tactics Tim’s stick. Flitcroft said he got who he wanted. Brown had no complaints. Now Wellens.

Whatever he does/did is never enough for some.

Brown fell out with Power did he not? Might be simply down to the ol' sacking.

There was some beef about paying up the rest of the contract.... but that seemed a technical matter I.e. lump sum or installments type of thing.

There's nowt to gain for a gaffer in slagging off his employer, as Sturrock showed when sticking up for Diamond Mike.   Wellens has shown he understands the dark side of the game, by sticking with Tommy Wright, after he'd been convicted of taking a £5K bung from agents.

I think Brown said he wasn't paid up, but he said the same thing about his previous employer.

Let's not forget Ling as well. He was singing Power's praises because Power continued paying him when he was ill.

Shame on me. I’d forgotten about Lingy. That was classy of Power, tbf.
