This is precisely how you'd have chosen them to get not promoted, really.  Perfectly scripted end to the season.

Odd for Wycombe fans.  Probably the greatest day in their history, and not one of their fans there to see it.

Oxford play the better football but wouldn't be at all surprised if Wycombe shithouse the final. Kind of like how we've been physically overpowered in our last two play off finals v Preston and Millwall.

Wycombe seem as tight knit as a squad can be with Akinfenwa leading the rally in the post match huddle and the rest of them lapping it up.

Convinced myself Wycombe will pinch the final 2-1 and go on to be obliterated in The Championship!

That'll do.

See you next season piss stains.

The only disappointment is those wankers up the A420 didn’t get financially shafted on a day out to Wembley.

And as for the other lot, the shame/crushing embarrassment of losing a play off final to a local rival should wear off in a decade or two.  It's not all bad.

Eastwood is a fucking liabilty for the Pox!
Thought the penalty was shades of Chalky and Kevin Poole in 1993. The Swindon gods are shining on us....

Great to see another small fry club beat the odds and get into the championship. I would be quite content with a season of what I see has been dubbed 'shithousery' if it ends what may be seen as a period of stagnation.

Yeesh. Oxford won't get many bigger opportunities than that.
