Nothing wrong with Morton's workrate there for 20 years old basically battled to make that goal.

Game was over when Moxey got sent off.
Think it was over well before that.

Indeed. 3-0 is 3-0. Credit to Norgampton there. Even if most our hearts were wanting Exeter. Think they know they need to do it automatically because POs just ain't their bag.

It's probably been asked before, but how many ex Town players are playing / on the bench tonight?

I hope Banker sticks around. They seem alright.

PV, I changed stream about 5 left to play. 3 nil 4 nil. Red pill blue pill. Big win that. Indeed Exeter have done a Swindon and Northampton have done a Preston. At least soem respite for Exeter fans is that they didn't have to go through the shambles and heartache at the Neu Wembley. Thst day was fucking horrible. Met and spoke with Lee Peacock though. He's a lovely bloke.

He is, was outside the Swindon end in a tent and radio truck doing radio interviews pre game etc, I met him there too.

Exeter deserved to lose tonight but I don't think Northampton were 4 goals better but they did want it more and deservedly won it.

Yes it did mention he was doing Radio bits as at HT he had to shoot off. He was sat one row in front about 6 seats away. In front of me were a few football friends of Byrne. At that time both Peacock and I were sporting pretty strong beards. So naturally, a mutual "attraction" ensued as he smiled and asked 'how long have you been growing yours for'

Genuinely lovely guy. I'm glad he is involved in the Town set up.

I know the spectacles get rose tinted when you watch your own team but I thought that was pretty awful watching, in terms of standard of football.  Northampton looked a better version of Flitcrofts team with us and Exeter looked like us against Preston.

I thought it was a good old game of Div 4 football... it's the first game since the comeback that I've watched for 90mins, I've tried with the Prem stuff but they've been truly terrible games, basically going through the motions, so have tended to give up after 20 mins.

Div 4 by definition isn't going to be technically the best so the players need to make up for that in other ways..... effort, honesty and the occasional glimpses of some good skill.

Feel sorry for Exeter.  (Commiserations, Banker.)  They were up there with us for most of the season, and only dropped away during the last few games.  But that's football.
