It was Spacey pretending to be a bird. No doubt I remember the posts better than they were, but being Spacey I'm sure it was clever and subtle. I think Fred was being pulled at one point.
I expect the posts still exist in the database, might have a look.
My idea. In the Merlin after a game ( I want to say Boston in the cup ) Spacey said he had a week off work and asked what he could do on the forum to keep himself entertained... True Story. |

I know her, we went to school together. She left because she was getting a lot of personal responses to her posts in the football related stuff I think - she had a bit of a Here we Go Again style to her posts and got jumped on a bit.
I know a few others who post.
It's a tough call on the bullying aspect - I don;t really take anything posted personally, it's an exchange of text with humour and emotion often implied by the reader. I think the only time I remember being nasty by intent was towards someone in a match day thread about the three chaps that used to sit in the first block of the DR stand and moan every fucking game. I appreciate the irony in me moaning about the moaners, but they really got my goat that day.
One of her final posts was a rant about me always singling her out, which was complete and utter bollocks. If anything the opposite is true as I actively chose to not engage with her the majority of the time. I didn't even make the initial comment that caused the kerfuffle. (I just agreed with it). That's something else she had a habit of doing - playing the victim card. I remember her doing it a couple of times at least to other people (not me). "Just because I'm a woman" type stuff to people whose only transgression was to not agree with her on something. Meh. |

I seem to have totally missed who "Toni" was. Might be before I started posting but then I was a long time guest beforehand, mostly just came on to read the match reports or post match stuff. That aside, It's a shame Ells no longer posts. She tended to post fairly good stuff and you could have a decent discussion from time to time. Partly back on topic, so can anyone shed light on why Friday August 2nd 2019 was our biggest number of visitors? The guests can't all have been spambots? Oh and gender reveal - I'm all woman  |
